I think this one was 1/8th sec on shutter priority mode. I used a cable release to time the shot with the incoming waves, and got several good foreground shots as well as several not so good ones.
A singh ray reverse nd grad was used for the sunset.
Its best to wait for a day with high tide and big waves as you get more interesting results.
