Gone for the silouheted dramatic effect that people on here seem to prefer.
Hope you like, this place was one of the furthest underground i've been in the UK so i'm not that likely to go back anytime soon.
Thanks for looking...

There's something quite eerie about that!
looks like it should be straight out of an old "Hammer House" movie
Great shot!
Oh and I admire you for "caving" I don't have the balls for that

Now you finally have me. Give me wide open (and preferrably high) places anytime. Great shot of a place I am sure I would not be very comfortable in. :nono:

Really like this shot, but it makes me feel claustrophobic just looking at it

Fantastic shot. Got to applaud you for caving AND for having the balls to take your camera down there with you. Seen some of your other caving shots and i think this one is the best so far. Very atmospheric and dramatic.
Thats a cracking shot mate! niceone dude. I know myself how hard it is to get any decent results underground.
Only thing that i have found distracting is the light coming thought the guys legs and dulling out his right shin.

Thanks for your comments people, much appreciated!
Chase: I use an external flash gun attached to a slave unit, which is sat on top of a cheap mini tripod. I then have the built-in flash of my camera turned right down (so as to not pick up the humidity of the cave) but still strong enough to trigger a small flash gun (also with a slave unit) that i point backwards behind me. This is then strong enough to trigger the backflash! Wow, sounds like a lot a hassle but it's the smae setup for almost all my shots so i've gotten used to it.
Tank: Yer, i know what you mean about that light coming through between his legs. I have actually brought it out a little because i though it added a bit more atmosphere with the fog. However, i think i agree with you that it distracts from his figure.
Super shot:thumbs:
Really like this one!
