Ok, I admit it - I'm bored http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/muede/c015.gif and trying to entertain myself.
Sooooooooooo.... PHOBIA'S - do you have any? whether it be spiders, snakes, open spaces, cotton wool, baked beans - share them here.
I'll start - I have a severe phobia of moths and butterflies. I really can't stand them and freak out bigstyle if one comes near me. I'm more terrified of moths than I am of butterflies. Bizarre, I know, but there you go. I'm thinking of trying something like hypnotherapy as I'm getting worse and more irrational as I get older.

It`s not strictly a phobia as such, but any flying insects. Wasps bees flys, if they wizz past my ear and I don`t see them coming, they really make me jump.
It stems from when I was a kid, apparently I used to run screaming down the garden if a fly came near me!
I have a phobia but you may not know what they are unless you deal with injured/sick birds...
They are called flat flies. They basically look like your average fly but flat. They have hooked feet to grip onto feathers and can't fly very well. They like warm dark places.
When I collect sick birds and put them in my van, I can be driving along and suddenly you feel something in your hair and you can feel its a flat fly. If your not quick they crawl down your shirt neck and love nothing better than to squeeze in your arm pit....
If, when your examining a bird, one flies off, you can't just flick it away coz they have a great habit of just sticking on you. They are REVOLTING.
They seem to be indestructible aswell and the only way you can get rid of it I have found is to wrap them in cello tape...
Yuk, Yuk, Yuk... :puke:
Wasps. Plain and simple. Scare the s*** out of me. I actually have to run away sometimes as they send shivers down my spine :(
Kill them all is what I say. They simply serve no purpose in this world.

Aye, I have a phobia but when you have the p*** ripped out of it by someone you were close to for a good part of your life and by a complete stranger he is now with, you just don't talk about it!! Makes you feel completely :cuckoo: but there ya go :)

Confined spaces, and spiders. :shake:
Hmmm, spiders, but not sure its really a phobia, because I dont mind tiny little ones, or big fat trantuala types - its just everything inbetween that has me running for the door screaming. I have tried accepting them, and to a point have succeeded, I dont feel sick any more just seeing one, it has to be fairly close before all control vanishes. The worse ones are those big fat house spiders about 2" across....oh god, now I am making myself cringe.....:shake:
I used too have a real fear of crane flies, but do seem to have grown out of that over last few years, with no idea why, they just don't bother me anymore.
