Not a job for a windy day! :)
Not a job for any day in my life..
It is as safe as crossing a street? Does he live on a race course?
Michael.
WOW, thats pretty cool, get some good views up there!
Im not sure a camera would be able to stand up to those kind of electric fields... Although saying that there is of course the one doing the video!
Like was said in the video though, it really is perfectly safe, as long as there is no path along which the current can flow to ground. If this were to happen though, I wouldn't like to think of the aftermath :/

Safe? He was sitting on cables hundreds of feet up in the air!
The electricity would be the least of my worries.
Michael.
During my days as a trainee in the lighting lab (when the boss wasn't around) I held a bare 240V live wire in my hand whilst standing on 2 glass jars just to prove the theory of no route to earth - it was right and I felt nothing. Don't try this at home kids!
I wouldn't do anything so stupid now :gag: .
Great vid, not so sure about the job though :)
Oh wow  thats got to affect your fertility or something!

Because under the condition that those 1 inch thick high tension steel cables snap, or his tested safety harness breaks, there isn't much chance he's going anywhere. The thing I would be most afraid of in that situation is the helecopter (SP?) hitting me! And to be honest, can you see them doing that on a windy day?
;)
Make that 2 inches judging by the relative size to his hand
I would sign up today, what a great life.
