my poor deluded sis in law wants one of my red panda pics printed and as payment has offered to have one done for me as well.
i have picked two possibles but can't get the photoshop right. any and all c&c welcome on both the pics and the processing.
first post on in depth but be brutal.

They both look fine to me. I'd pick the first shot all day. :)

thanks again ct,. thing about the first shot for me do the clouds not look abit yellow? almost like the rapeseed is reflecting!

The clouds are tinted slightly yellow on my monitor too mate but thats definately the shot I'd go for :thumbs:

1st shot for me too.
The clouds in the foreground look nice and white, the slight yellow tint only appears to be on the distant/bottom clouds so I wouldnt worry about that.

What I would worry about ... is the little cluster of sensor blobs in the middle of the 1st/top cloud.
You'll only end up kicking yourself if you dont clone those out before you get it printed. ;)

#2 looks a bit too saturated/contrasty in the foreground & kind of hurts my eyes a little.

JMO of course!

There is a slight yellow tint, i selected the whole sky region and desaturated the yellow channel. i've put the two side by side so you can see the difference.

I'd also use selective colouring on your cyan/blues and darken them, makes for a more dramatic sky! =]
