This flew over our heads when we were on the beach at Withernsea last weekend:

No cropping done and that was at 73mm on a 400D. There's something quite scarey about a plane flying low, especially when it's foggy

 I know how you feel! Yesterday between 6pm and about 8:30pm down the road in Kirton, we had about 6 or 7 lots of formation fly over. After the first one I thought.. '**** I wish I had had my camera ready for that :(' by the time the last lot went over I was thinking 'Another lot! I really should get up and go sit outside ready for the next one' ... but of course that was the last one

Them bloody things are soooo noisy! One lot made our house literally shake, knocking some of our paintings on he skew!

Would that have been the Eurofighters ? Mum and dad said they had a group of 4 and then a singleton fly over last night before i got up here

I've no idea  I'm not into planes.. it had wings, and was in the sky, that's about my best description!

Last Friday week, whilst gardening, I was honoured with a fly past by the Red Arrows :D
The Sally B the other week, I think en route to Biggin Hill :)

LOL - the Arrows are great when you see them just flying about the place too 'cos they fly in formation usually, don't they!

I was stuck in a massive jam on the M3 awhile back and had the good fortune to watch the red arrows having a blat around - Your right even when they're not doing a demo they stay in formation! Maybe its just one massive plane with little ones painted underneath so we all think there're loads.... (I'm very tired... :D )
