I know Ive asked this before....just wondering if anyone else knows the answer?

When I have done things in Lightroom (contrast, suchlike) I then open a "copy with lightroom settings" in Photoshop CS2.

For some reason it doesnt look like the photo which I just left in Lightroom...it is slightly hazy and I then have to do all the levels, contrast etc etc again in Photoshop.

Is there a "color setting" in Photoshop that I've set wrong......would it better to up the dot gain or something like that in photoshop??
Not that I know what that does!! :cuckoo:

Sounds like a colour management problem. Does the exported PSD for PS editing using the same colour working space that you would normally use for jpg/tiff export?

I use srgb in photoshop as my color profile. it isnt the colours that are wrong its just the lack of punch..no contrast.. no blacks.... just hazy. doesnt seem worth doing it in lightroom if i have to do it all again.

Didnt used to be like that....... Ive installed Photoshop twice since... to try to rectify it but it doesnt.

The default colour setting in Lightroom is proRGB. I would set the same in photoshop. See if that helps.

I've ditched lightroom for these sorts of reasons - I can't get it to talk to PS properly. I now use Adobe Bridge instead - much easier
