New 500mm f/4, 600mm f/4 in development, says Canon

New versions of the Canon 500mm f/4 and 600mm f/4 lenses are in development, with prototypes of each to be shown at next month's Photokina 2010 trade show in Cologne, Germany.

I wonder what prices they'll launch at and what it will do to used prices of existing lenses?

They've already produced gen3 versions of the 300mm2.8L and 400mm2.8.L together with gen 3 converters slipped in among all the furore over the 60D.
