Well I've really gone and done it. Just ordered the Nikon 70-300mm VR which I have wanted for a while now and a Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4.5 from warehouse express all for £532 :D . Got them to price match the Sigma so got it £202.99 instead of £219.99 :) . Now have to wait until my new toys arrive :'( Can't wait :woot:

Hmmm... So the 70-300mm VR was only like £300?

That's interesting...

*Runs off to Warehouse Express*

VR lenses suddenly seem more affordable.

Only recently. Nikon were somewhat lacking in the budget VR market 6 to 9 months ago.

Somebody must of been repeatedly kicking somebody up the arse in Nikon world.

King.

Research has shown that budget consumers want VR in as many lenses as possible. So thats what Nikon have done. And great it is too!

Shame I dont have any :( :p

I'm extremely jealous of people that can afford the 70-200 VR 2.8...

If it wasn“t for it becoming my "work tool" I wouldn“t be able to. But it“s basically paid for itself.

Finally got outside for a few quick shots and done some indoor shots the other night, and from what I've seen so far I'm really impressed with it well worth the money :)
