Haven't figured out what these are going towards. I think I'll probably end up with a series of these images... I tend to gravitate towards things like this. I really like looking at mathematical patterns in things that weren't designed to be mathematically pleasing (to me at least). It's just weird how you can walk down the street and find examples of pattern, repetition, balance and symmetry in some of the most mundane places.

I guess that's what these images are about. Composition, pattern, and mathematics. Let me know what you think. :-)

I'm strangely the same, seeing patterns and numbers in everyday things.

I like the garage door shot but I think it would look better if the No Parking sign wasn't so orange!

I understand what you are getting at, and I've seen quite a few similar type images before but they usually don't do much for me. Lots of people do like them so don't let me put you off!

Only one of these shots that made me look a bit longer was the empty car park and i have no idea why!

I'm drawn to the car park image. I like it. It's the perspective in the lines, they're leading you to... Well, nothing really, but I think that's the attraction though. Diagonal lines are always the most dynamic.

Thanks for all the great feedback, everyone. I really appreciate it and it's super helpful. :-)

The parking lot is my favorite, too. It's the most awkward out of all the images (I think so, at least).

I'm gonna keep working on adding to this series. It's been pretty interesting shooting these images.

Like them all - may I call them urban landscapes?

In #1 I would have liked to see a tiny bit more foreground floor. Please note that I am not saying you should apply the rule of thirds...

#2: The loosely hanging wire below the blue distracts a bit...

All in all something different and very nice!
