I have found my idol. The photographer I will be inspired to be like. A photographic god! ;)

His name is John Wimberley and some of his fine art photography just stirs the soul!

Check out his work..especially the landscapes.

I can't argue with any of the above. Work of a genius.

On a similar note, does anyone else have any inspirational galleries they have bookmarked? Its the sort of thing we could do with being stickied somewhere, so when we run out of ideas we can look at the work of the truly great photographers and get inspired. Oh, and to waste the hours away while im at work.;)

Oh wow, thanks. Those look really good. Some of them look quite familiar though.

I quite like them. Maybe its your unartistic eye that can't see the greatness of them. Fingers crossed your uni course will teach you how to tell great pictures from poor ones.;)

On another slightly pimping note; www.Afowler.co.uk <-- decided to play around with Lightroom gallery feature last night. Im impressed how easy it is to set up. It has inspired me to look at other, slightly more complex packages and create a good and versatile portfolio site.:)

Not quite a master but a very good photographer!

He is a member of a list of photographers featured on this site

Use the list on the right hand side to navigate through the members with some very special talent.
