Hit the quote button to put the entire post in quote tags. The just delete whichever part of the post you dont want to me quoted, as you would when editing your own post or word processing.

You click the multi-quote button in each post you want to quote in your post, then you click on the actual quote button to compose your response.

When I click on the quote button it always asks me which part of the post I want to quote.

I thought it worked the same for everybody

add the

quote / quote text

[ quote goes here within the brackets ] text goes here [ /quote goes here within the brackets to end quote ]

As above

Did you know that if you put a [] around the beginning of text in any threads you start, it hides that text from the post preview? ;)

I may get in trouble for spilling that one  as it can be annoying.

To use the quote function, either click quote under the relevant post....

OR click the multiquote button under each post you want to highlight....(Actually read above, already explained :p)

If you want to just write a quote like

Matty said
I'm a slacker Admin

then simply just write it like this

I'm a slacker Admin

And whatever you put inbetween the quote tags will be put a quote block.
If you want to be smart and put "Originally posted by......suchandsuch", you can go one step further and type...

I'm a slacker Admin
Which looks like this :

I'm a slacker Admin
