Yup! It does for me anyway :) I'd like to see some more contrast and saturation, especially in the middle back row of houses, to really make it pop then it would have the WOW factor imo

i think this does work, an intersting mix of colours for me :)

it looks like very much like this shot may have been taken in devon, i would guess at a place called brixham, as this is the only place i have seen that looks remotely like this :)

Looks promising - I would be tempted to add some contrast and a bit of saturation maybe (like Grendal says) just to bring out the colours etc.

I agree with the other folks about the saturation. Also seems to have a bit of a blue cast on my setup.

The photo itself works for me just fine

Yup works for me, like others have said boost the saturation and its a winner :)

Not for me I'm afraid. Having the color at the top and the bottom loses some impact of what I think you might have been trying to capture. I think one row of coloured houses surrounded by the whiter houses would have had more impact. Without knowing the place though I don't know whether it would be possible to compose that shot.

Almost Joe ... ;) ... a great shot and has potential with the mix of colours and crammed houses ... ... but for me lacks the final punchiness and aside from satch 'n stuff already mentioned I think it just misses that 'sardine' effect imgo ... ... if that is what you were after ... :D

I really like the idea but the problem is they were obviously in the shade. I think it would be great if the light was better. The small glipse of sky at the very top bothers me more than it prbably should :D If it is somewhere you can go back at a different time and try again I think it would be worth it.

Agree about the lighting, the colours looks dull when the scene is so vibrant, though not much you can do about that unless you have power to control the sun though.

I would have also liked to seen all of the buildings at the bottom too, which gain may not have been possible.

But it does work, it is the sort of busy scene I really like.
