I'm working on some FAQ answers including this one - so there will be some detailed help when I finish it!

In the mean time there are posts in hidden places on the forum if you search :)

in short... your picture needs to be 800 pixels wide/high or less. Right click it in your web browser and choose properties. highlight and copy the URL (htt...something.jpg). Come back here and click the picture postcard icon with the mountain... paste in the pictures URL.

edit: I guess cobra found one :)

guess I did :D
A quicker way if you can open 2 tabs that is IE 7 or Fire fox or others I guess.
write your post open a new tab, upload to gallery in that window copy and paste the link from the uploaded picture direct to the post, you don't need the mountain icon

PM me the image links and I will see what I can do or if there is something missing

Some sites don't allow linking - especially the free version of accounts. Never used photobucket so don't know if they do or not.

I think I have used the wrong link, I have used the location I presume it should be the address?

Robert could you please delete my Slimbridge thread.
Thanks

This is what it ( the link) should look like I have added two ** asterix's before and after to break the link. but if you click it you will still see the picture

Chris - I can delete the thread and will if you still want, but it looks easy to fix.

You have done the thread right but the URL addresses are not correct

eg http://s151.photobucket.com/albums/s...ridge-4406.jpg

it has those dots in the middle instead of the full address. The full address and it would be fine.

I use photobucket for my images and it's the free account .... just copy the URL tag under your photo and then follow the TP instructions...

Are you sorted yet Chris ?

PB is really easy to use but sometimes people copy the wrong code. It's the bottom code thats needed to post in the forum.

http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e386/daidoh/Bits%20and%20Bobs/Capture.jpg

Left click on the 'IMG' box the code is automatically copied. Return to your post, right click and select paste. Preview the post to see the pic. If you're happy submit it and wait for all the nice comments to appear.

HTH
