These normally go for LOTS of money- that Carl Zeiss Planar lens is razor sharp too. It's a 7 day listing and there were no bids till this morning with 4 days to go so I suspect people are holding back.

Hmmm, mate this wont help you at all !

If you really want it, and at the last doings, its not to high, have a go ! At the end of the day, whats it worth realistically ?

I've seen these make 7 or 8 hundred quid - they're rare now in good condition so are prized by collectors.. I'm keeping an eye on it but common sense (which isn't always my strongest point) says I'm on a nostalgia trip and I wont use it.

If you can get it cheap enough, i doubt it will lose money, could be an investment in the long term mate ! and if you only ever put 1 or 2 films through it, if its always been a dream to own one, cant really go wrong can it ! :)

Think of what else you could buy with that amount of money - stuff that’s useful and that will bring you much more enjoyment, other better and more usable lenses etc.

Not an expensive ornament that may get one or two rolls of film passed through it. ;)

Plus, no matter how much good feedback someone has on Ebay, there are always risks..postage and package, the product not being as described, the seller doing a runner...just not worth the risk :wink:
