There are a couple of pairs of them down by the river Frome.... what is it?
(naff light.. ISO800, huge crop)

I've not got a clue... (nothing strange there)

I thought it was a wheatear (http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/birdguide/name/w/wheatear/index.asp)

but not exactly the same eye markings :shrug:

It looks like a Yellow Wagtail to me:thinking: - Possibly a Female as the Male has more Yellow.

Yeah, having looked a bit closer - it is more like the Grey or even could be the Blue headed wagtail. The head on the one in your photo looks a tad darker than that of a Grey. ummm, not sure now.:shrug:

Soo a wagtail, they were certainly doing that, so that's a cert, but
One vote for a yellow
One 1/2 votes for grey
1/2 for blue
