This is a first attempt at something like this, I know there is some noise in the image, bugger me left the ISO at 400 but comments on composition etc etc.
Not my normal thing these flowers but hey it looked all alone.

Awww poor 'ikkle flower!

I like it :D Some noise reduction would help though, and maybe you could clone out that grass stalk for more of the "alone" effect?

Very nice background but the foreground subject does not seem strong enough to me. The stem seems nice and sharp but the heads a bit dark and soft. Not convinced about the position of it either - maybe a touch further away from the edge of frame? Good idea though!

I like that shot as it is Issey, the noise adds to the image IMHO, composition looks balanced because of the background detail & the colours are really nice :thumbs:
One thing I would change however is the bright red text at the base of the image as my eye is drawn to the flower head & then down & out of the frame rather than into it.
