This thing was stuck to a lavender flower I had decided to shot. I tried to budge it off, but the thing was stuck fast, and appeared to be as dead as a dodo :shrug: Weird...

Thats awsome!:D Shame its leg is slightly in front of its face, but other than that its a really nice shot. As you say pxl8, that abdomen doesn't look right. Looks pretty cool though.

If the fly was indeed dead, it could have been suffering from post necrotic calcification of the lower abdomic region.
