I hope not!
Shes my gf haha
She's got no eyes. Fill in flash would have helped there. Also the composition feels a bit off. Its too centered.

Still got eyes :p
You can just ssh now
It looks quite underexposed to me. Dark and moody seems wrong for a beach. I had a quick edit and it does come up OK but you don't have the box in your profile ticked to allow edits so I won't post it.

I think you bring out a bit more of the detail with some processing. Do you have Photoshop or anything similar? if so you could brighten the image quite a bit, and bring out the shadows around the eyes :)
I would also be tempted to change the crop (layout) of the image. I would cut out a lot of the surrounding rock so it was more concentrated on the lovely lady ;)
I would show you what I mean, but I see you havent selected the "Image Editing" option in your profile. All that option means is that you don't mind someone playing about with you photo and then posting it back on here for you to see how they think it could be improved. It can be very helpfull :)

A while ago, I was trying to find something to explain to someone about the basic of camera settings in photography and I came across this - http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/fototech/apershutter/index.htm - which after a quick scan seemed pretty good. So if you fancy a bit of reading it might help :)
Not sure there is a guide on the forums (sorry if there is). If there isnt I might be tempted to write one (not that I am an expert by any length).

Oh any my take on your photo, which was made by doing auto-levels in Photoshop, then using the dodge tool to just bring out some of the shadows.
