Thanks to MonkeyDave (cheers bud) I now have a set of extension tubes to go with my tamron 90.
These are the first few shots i've taken with this setup, all from my rather wet garden

It's much more difficult than just using the macro lense on its own, DOF is much narrower for and given apature and shake is much more of a problem, but i am getting used to it, i think. :)

I can see you are going to have some fun with this set up.
I particularly like the second one.
Shame about the wing tips not being in the frame on the third one, and it's a shame the leaf is damaged.
Will be looking forward to more pics.

I instantly thought "wow" when I looked at that first shot. Raindrops superbly portrayed, and I love the colour :D
