After the previous thread (http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=26103&highlight=squeeze) that descended into hoverfly in flight shot pawn then I had to have a go today.

But no more hoverfly shots.

Promise.

Ok, so the last one isn't a hover. But it certainly looks angry to be batched together with them ;)

First one for me also, athough I'd think about widening the crop as it seems a bit close to one of the wings.

I like the second one although it could do with some NR for the background. The first is superb, so sharp I could cut my finger on it.

Indeed.

They're not as sharp as I'd like, but moving targets are tricky!

The first one has only been cropped off the lower Lhs alas. The wing is that close in the frame.

agreed about the noise. They were slightly underexposed and iso640 hence the slight graininess.

I've lost my noise ninja too. Stopped using it when I got rid of the panny and the one on NX is so slow on my PC it's like running through molasses on a cold day with a tu-tu on!
