What exactly is it? Star Wars? What's that? Battling actors? Paris Hilton 'v' Posh?

[tongue firmly lodged in cheek]

The new films just don't have the same appeal to me as the original did back in the day! I remember going to the cinema to see the original....WOW. Real story. The new films just don't cut it IMHO.

Nice one Brains  the youngsters of today don't realise just what an innovative film episode IV ( a new hope) really was, nearly 30 years ago :D

All 6 films exist as part of a complete story. The original Trilogy holds a special place in my heart too and the newer films can't compete with that.

Get to meet Dave Prowse though :D (the guy in the Vader suit in eps IV-VI) and Billy Dee Williams (Lando).

I know what you are saying Matt But think back to what "competion" there was 29 years ago it really was a ground breaker in many ways. IV -VI will always be my favorites I have I-III but watch IV more than the rest put together ( when I get the time :D )

Enjoy! (I am sure you will)

The story line seemed much simpler on the originals....Episode I just confused the hell out of me....and as for that stupid alien with the big tongue!

Theres a new fan edit dvd been brought out by your hairdresser Neil.

Bloke called Wookie Groomer has released a DVD which has all 6 films playing concurrently at the same time on the same screen. 8 selectable audio channels (1 for each film, an instrumental track which chooses the best audio from the selection at the time, all 6 movies at the same time)

Its mad.

Hey its not your fault you prefer Grease, Dirty Dancing and the sound of music mate, its fine, we're all different.

In other news, I was on TV on Friday night, on ITV in London news thingymabob anyway.

I'm home again now, spent up and geeked out.

The people I met and spoke to this weekend include Warwick Davies, Mark Hamill, Dave Prowse, Colin Baker, Steve Sansweet, Darth Vader, 300 or so Stormtroopers, 50+ Obi Wan Kenobi's and Anakin Skywalkers, some girls in Princess Leia slave outfits (drool, and some not so drool).
