This is a picture of my niece holding her doll up against the breeze on a water taxi at Lake Como.

Children seem to have an ability to be so perfectly at ease, lost in the moment.

That's cool. I'll bet it would make a good framed picture for the family too. Nice timeless shot :)

That's really lovely, but I do want to chop off the ( over? ) protective arm.
I like the low contrast but I bet there's someone here chomping at the bit to beef it up in [insert fav photo editor ]

On balance think I agree with Mancunian, the original has a softer feel that I like. Thanks for experimenting with it though Rich, it's good to see what others do with your images.

A really lovely shot capturing a fleeting moment. The tones are just right, I'd leave it just as it is.:)
