My first try out at a 'glamourish' photo. I tried the HDR approach. 3 shots. One -2, one 0 and one at +2 apertures. It was difficult as not only did I have to remain steady, so did the subject.

The image has lost quality due to a reszie (and a screenshot..), but i'm fairly happy with it. Fairly grainy, and a weird effect on the lip of her right leg on the jeans...

What do you think? :)

Interesting idea & processing but I'm not 100% on the composition if I'm honest.
I would be tempted to move to portrait and/or slightly to the right & further down in the shot, making sure the feet were included & eliminating any distracting elements like the green top which keeps catching my attention.
If you're having trouble with freezing motion have you thought about increasing the shutter speed & compensating within your RAW editing program before moving to HDR (I know you have to be careful with noise but don't think it should be very limiting )
Think that this could really work as a portrait though & nicely done for using a more alternative process outside of its more common uses

To be honest .....

You have cut her feet off and my eyes keep getting drawn to the green thing on the bed.

I would prefer a slightly lower angle and just a little bit to the right.

Sounds like it may be time for you to invest in a tripod if you like taking these type of shots.

Have another go .... Thats the beauty of shooting digitally

Yeah I think it doesn't really seem like a glamor shot and just seems like a photo of your girl friend lying on a bed. Theres also lost detail in her hair and jeans. I'm not really sure how much HDR has added to this image. You should look at using light more creatively rather than relying on processing. Its amazing what you can accomplish with a simple lamp.
