Nice, so what processing was involved with that?

Really like the shot - however eye covered by hair appears to be different colour to other eye (ie. not blue) - other than that - great shot!

Shot didn't look right with both eyes coloured, I think with just the one coloured it makes it a focal point of the picture

Sorry, but this is an attempt to produce a high key shot in processing and it rarely works, such shots really need to be produced in the camera with careful lighting and it isn't easy. It's all too easy to produce a result in processing where the highlights just look blown with no detail at all, which is the case here. The only texture left is around the eyes so the digital manipulation is all too obvious.

If the missus is blonde and fair skinned you're halfway there, choose a light background and have another go. :)

I like this one (viewing on a crappy monitor though!) I think both eyes blue would look better though! If you do try it again as per CT's advice it'd be interesting to compare the two!

Still an eye catching image! Very good!

Sorry - just reading that through it sounds a bit harsh and it wasn't meant to..... honest. :)

Just look at the hard angular lines though above the bridge of the nose where the highlights meet the shadowed eye sockets... needs to be a much softer graduation.

I like this sort of shot - I personally don't mind the 'blown' look.

Will colour the other eye and re-post just for you lot.

And as for the wife, this is the only picture (even *** its more arty than photography) she has had taken of her that she likes, so I was right in the good books (so i think she wont moan at me when i blow some more money on gear)
