Excellent captures imo! :clap: No 1 is my fav - the eyes and wings are superbly sharp, its well composed on a natural looking background.:thumbs: A very small crit would be the piece of wood in the lower right of the frame - its a tiny bit distracting for me.:shrug:

Top work overall though, thanks for sharing! :)

Nice capture, and I can't say ive ever seen one of those before either. My only criticism is that there is a yellow 'blob' on the body that could do with being cloned out imo.

The "yellow blobs" are called halteres, which are the remnants of a fly's second pair of wings. This is how flies are separated from all other flying insects, which have four wings; flies are Diptera, which literally means "two wings". :)
