Can't see a thread?

This is probably me who is going dotty here but on the following screen capture

I can see the thread about the Main Website front end which Bachs has just replied to. If I go into the forums the thread isn't there yet if I ckick on the Last Post link I'm taken straight to it :confused:

at the bottom of that general rules and announcements forum there is a section that has drop downs for different things, the thread display time is set for a very short time, increase the view time and it will show...the other thing i can do is nose around and see what settings are in the admin section..

I have just checked and altred the ramaining forums/threads to "show all" so that every post since we began should now be visible to everyone.

This setting should have be activated by default when the forums where set up but it appears I missed it.
