1st shot is over exposed and look at the wall at the back of the shot...

A tweak with the levels should bring out better colours and straighten it up.:D

Second shot looks fine other than the whites want toning down a little but much better.;)

Are we in a better mood tonight..:p

Second shot is fine. The first shot is way off level. It's easy enough to straighten up in processing, but you need to keep an eye on your horizontals and verticals in the viewfinder. :)

I really like the second one! Looks well exposed to me and looks like a great location!

Both look pretty well exposed to me! Maybe the path on the first is a tiny bit over.

First shot is cool, only thing that bothers me is the lack of feet. Try crouching down next time?

Second one is great in my opinion. Nicely framed and well exposed - I can't fault it ;)

2nd shot is by far the better shot, but you need to get closer.

I wouldnt go too much closer, maybe look a little from the bottom, but I like the staricase going up in the background

I mean in general. So far the 3 from the wedding have all needed crops imho, but she says she has them so :)

more cropping for me then

only cropped the one with stairs

the groom and best man was such a random shot i rather liked it but indeed it does need straightening.

i liked the old fashioned knackered wall but buster boy says 'no no no'

Nothing wrong with he wall at all - I think it's the slant BB is referring to. ;)

ah! the slant all is clear now

yep its definatly slanting

I wouldn't say thats the answer as the picture quality will degrade. Its easily fixed by getting closer to your client or by zooming in, optically not digitally.

We all take slanting pics now and again, but it's quite a large slant you have there. It's easily correctable in processing but the more the slant, the more you have to crop the shot afterwards and you lose detail at the edges of your shot. It can be a problem if for instance you've composed fairly tightly on groups - you can end up chopping people off the ends.

Look for vertical and horizontal clues in your viewfinder -doors and window frames etc are a good indication with indoor shots.
