Ok, i think i'll have a look ar that tomorrow, looking at it now i think the background is a bit buist.. also the bit of light by his right eye is distracting.. the over all out line of his face is a little lost.. is there a way of making his outline more defined??

I can't give much constructive criticism because i know nothing about portrait photography, but i like the shot. I would of processed it like this though...

What did you do? more contrast?? when i first converted it i looked at it with more contrast but i prefered the slightly softer look.. makes him look a bit harsh! if you know what i mean.. i like the high contrast though! but not for him.. it was a happy moment in a normaly hard life.. its nice to see him happy..
