This was the general atmosphere at Knowsley. It rained, heavily and yet no-one cared. The Who came on to torrential rain and everyone had a fantastic time. The same for when Joss Stone came on the next day, heavy rain yet people were still happy. It was a great weekend and I’m looking forward to the next one. In other news I was able to get an invite to Weekly Shot (http://www.weeklyshot.org/), a site I’ve been following for a while now, thanks to Dave Gibbeson (http://www.drg-photography.com/). Its a very well made site as it promotes comments and ratings over posting of images for your own ego. I’m very lucky to have just got my first featured image (http://www.weeklyshot.org/theme/light-architecture/featured/23/) too. I figured it was quite fitting for a theme of “Light and architecture”. Lastly, it turns out that my email address on my business cards has not been working as expected for the past few months. I did fully test it but since then the catch-all feature has failed. I’m not sure why so I apologise to anyone who has not received a response to an email.

These are awesome, really captured the atmosphere well in all of them. Everyone looks so relaxed and having a good time.

No.2 was taken just as The Who came on. Torrential rain. I got soaked, my gear got soaked but we all had a good time :) You can see how heavy the rain was quite easily in the shot due to the beams of light and the rain highlighted by the flash.

Great pics again Pete.

Seeing the pics reminded me of what my mate said last week. He was working on the spotlights for the event, and when the Who were playing during torrential rain, the chap who was directing the 4 people with spotlights, an excitable American, was screaming 'this looks ********* amazing, who needs dry ice'. :eek: :lol:

I'm sure the crowd would rather have had the effect of lights and dry ice though. :lol:
