That is one ugly ass lens. I wonder if that's the original color? I suspect that it has been sprayed - though god knows why they chose that color.

My mum used to spray things that colour for Xmas decorations, worst thing we ever did was letting buy gold, silver and copper spray paint.
Actually thinking about it, it could be one of hers.

When I had my Mk1 Fiesta, I sprayed various internal dahboard parts (steering cowling, gearstick, indicator stalks etc), in different coloured luminous paints :D
Yes it did look the dogs balls though.
