These are fantastic, and in my opinion some of your best.

Were you using manual focus? if not what point were you focusing on to ensure everything appeared so sharp.

Hi Rob
Always use AF, tend to focus on the ground closest to me with sufficient DOF with a small apeture to make sure all is as sharp as possible, think f11 in this cause. Thanks for your comments.

I like number 2 as well, even some nice blue sky in there, to remind us what is there behind all these dark clouds.

Can't go waiting for summer any longer, it might never come. Thanks for your comments. Ian

These look great and IMO appear to be processed (or exposed) different to your usual ones. They look much better and appear much more natural. Great shots

The second and last are my favourite, they give the best sense of the scale and depth.

Very nice. Some blobs of over-exposure but on the whole, nice :)

2nd one for me too. All good shoots though :)
I've just got back from shooting lots of mountain shots in the Alps and its reall really difficult. I found that something good to the eye is not always good to the lens (or at least someone with my very limited ability!)

The camera does not see what we see. It has no emotions and does not react to the scene as we do. We have to use compositional 'tricks' to give the impression of what we see. Ian
