Subject: parallelism
qualitative and quantitative foregrounding, point of view and
foregrounding
From: Andualem Hadero [ah5111**@***.com]

Iam a literature student at Addis Ababa university and I am working my
masters thesis on foregroundingIn my country Ethiopia there is a
serious problem of stylistics books .We strive to acomplish our
lessons through our professors lectures only .However, if it is a
thesis it is only the students responsibility to find information which
is very difficult. So, I badly need your help before July 16 -the
deadline for the submission of the paper.

my questions are two:
1.Can you give me some detailed information about the difference
between qualitative and quantitative foregrounding?Where does
parallelism belong-qualitative of quantitative?
2.What is the relationship between point of view and foregrounding? Can
pointof view help foreground parts of a text?

If you you give me brief answers or send me articles which answer
these questons I will be very glad.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
