View Full Version : Togging this weekend?
So,
What are our photography plans this weekend?
I was hoping to get to a race track (likely: silverstone) and see if there's any action.
Anyone got anything fun planned?
Cheers,
James

Weather permitting, I'm off to Shuttleworth
My only shots will be a before and afters of the spare [read 'junk'] room I am planning on spending the weekend sorting out.... I mean I could take some pics of the aisles at tescos where I will no doubt end up buying yet more giant stack & store boxes, but I suspect they might be dull pics
On the up side, if I can achieve as much as I aim to do in the room over the weekend, I will finally have my own space, in my own room, for all the camera gear, computers, etc, away from the main dining room where I am currently bunked up and in everyones way....as i keep being told :shake: :bonk:

I was hoping for early morning or late evening shots of a steelworks in my hometown (scunthorpe) for a comp on "industry" in another forum but it looks like its going to be raining throughout so i'll have to use some backup shots I took earlier this week I think :(

Im planning to break into railtrack property. Erm... I mean take some pictures of an old train depot full of rusty, grafitti covered old trains.(Thats if I can get in there that is) If that fails, im off to the Tees barage to see if I can get some shots of white water rafting. Thats if it stops peeing it dow nthat is.
Im off to Chichester meeting up with a friend and going to take a few photos of her in the parks around Chi, some beautiful spots in chichester.

I'm hopefully going to the Hub Festival in Liverpool on Saturday and Sunday.(weather permitting:( )
Apparently it is "It is a celebration of the very best of urban cul-ture including live music, inline skating, skate-boarders, BMX bikers, Speedminton®, parkour (or freerunning), interna-tional food, urban retail stalls, street art and an adrenaline wind tunnel".
I've been the last couple of years and it has been a great event. I love taking pics of the BMXers and Skaters. It will be a 1st time for Speedminton® , Parkour and the adrenaline wind tunnel, so that should make it a bit different.
I've just hired a Nikon 70-200mm VR + 2x converter for the weekend, so I'm hoping the weather picks up a bit. :(
Two portrait shoots and looking forward to next weekend as off up North to cover a wedding in a castle. Hope the weathers kind.

Well, I've an athletics mag job on which could be kind of fun to shoot...the race is called the 'Hellrunner : Scots to the Slaughter'
The organizers words are....
'All you need to know is that the course will be probably more than 10 and less than 12 miles in length. Hey! With what we have in store, who’s counting'
IT IS NOT NECESSARY THAT YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO SWIM BUT PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THE COURSE MAY WELL BE UNEVEN, SLIPPERY, STONY AND WET...'
I kind of get the idea that it aint going to be a flat course! Note to myself, rem the wellies.....
cheers
