stealing photos

did anybody read bout the 17 year old photographer that is in to tography and been doing photos since she was 13.

she has posted lots of photos of herself [self portraits] and other people on the internet over the years.

she has recently discovered a photo she took of herself when she was 14 on the front cover of a pornagraphic dvd.

on contacting the company they said 'tough'

she has said that unless you have bucket loads f money you dont stand a chance on winning.



makes me think bout all the pics all over the net anybody could be using them


anybody got any thoughts????

What sorta photos were they to get on the front of a porno dvd.

I dont know really, in some way id take it as a compliment tbh i would be abit ****ed of aswel though.

There was a thread about on here a while back. Some scummy people about to steal a pic, then use it on the front cover of a porn video, especially as she was only a minor a the time.

Yup read about it on Flickr, saw it here. Only way to protect your images is to not publish them.

Yeah it was discussed here, and on flickr.

Then stories came out to suggest she was a hoax, akin to the infamous thingygirl (who did that blog).

Then this month she appeared in Digital Camera mag...so I think she's real :D
There are two sides to every story though, I read their side of it IIRC and it read quite plausible. They did nick the image in the first place, but as soon as they were told, they took it down immediately etc.....
