Nikon FA with 50mm lens and 2X macro converter.
2 Cobra flash guns place in front and to the side.
The Wasp was captured and placed on a twig in my back garden. The Camera was set up ready on a tripod, and i fired off around 10 frames before the Wasp flew away. The slight over exposure on the right of the Wasp is due to a bad scan at my local photo store. The negative is spot on, and i hope to get a rescan as soon as i can.

I always pick wasp and bees up as long as you grab all the wings together they cant reach to sting you.

Yep it's an old photo. That wasp will be long dead, but here forever on the net.
