View Full Version : new lens
I don't know if I'm being a bit stupid!
I've just bought a Sigma 24-70 2.8 EX DG Macro, which a really great lens,
the only problem I have is if it is in "P", "AV", or "TV" mode it seems to over expose the shot!! So is it a case of just under exposing by a stop or two?
Thanks in advance:thumbs:

Is it very over-exposed? Sticky aperture blades maybe?
Thanks for the quick reply Joe,
But in manual its fine???
Could you post up some shots? Same shutter speed, aperture etc but in both manual and in program mode?
Ok here goes, they don't look to bad was on the computer, however in the viewfinder the arrow was showing completly to the right. (overexposed)
Hope that makes sense?
Spencer

You havent got the exposure compensation set by accident have you?
Edit: yes you have - in the auto modes it is set to overexpose by 2 EV. It's showing as such in the EXIF information.
Problem solved! :D
