Really do love those shots, especially the secon one :) really captured the power of it. I need to go find some decent waterfalls around here, there must be some! What kind of shutter speeds are you using on them, I seem to have lost my EXIF viewer :(
#1 exif
1/4 sec, f9, 70mm, iso100
#2 exif
0.8sec, f8, 22mm, iso100
For the most part I was shooting in aperture priority. I was quite surprised how relatively fast shutter speeds could be used to capture the movement when compared to pictures of flowing water in lakes.
Im considering another trip back in the autumn time to capture it with some golden leafs.
1st is good. Not plasticy water either  looks like motion and not polythene.
A tad short in colour ***' being mainly green... as you say autumn
I like these two, particularly the second. You've captured the force of the water just right IMO.
Is it me or does the first one need rotating anticlockwise slightly?
The first is my favourite, more interest in the foreground and nicely composed, don't think it needs rotating but maybe my eyes are a bit off!
The first for me. It seems to have an almost Japanese feel:thinking:
Ahh, got it. The green covered rock ( i think) centre right looks like one of those highly shaped trees. Just me Ishould think. Lovely silky feel to the water.
Not that I would call powerful but delicate and cool.
Definitely a real keeper.
