This one hadn't bolted on the bodywork, it flew off on the warm up lap as he exited Druids....

Did anyone get the Formular Ford near death crash on the start/finish straight? I have a few long distance shots of the carnage afterwards, missed the car flying along in mid air though, although i did see it!

really nice colours in those
only thing i would say is that for the head on shots with headlights its worth taking off the filter otherwise you get the headlights repeated.

Yeah, I remembered that when i got home.... doh!

Still, it wasn't as bad as the Britcar night race last year, where I hadn't figured that out at all!!

Yeah the 2 wheels is a great shot,

I think the 2 Vipers the shutter was a tad fast, but still good shots.

Here is one of my long shots of this from Druids.

This car had hit two cars that stalled on the grid start... it cartwheeled down the track shedding pretty much everything.

Its barely come to a halt at this moment:

(excuse the size, you need it to see the detail)

I thought the driver was easily dead as this was ~160Mph into a stationary object and this wreckage must have been 200m away from the accident. Luckily he was spotted a few minutes afterwards having got out of the car himself and got behind the crash barrier before even the marshalls reached him!

A lucky man....

oh that looked nasty, but you'd be suprised, its often the innocent crashes that cause the most harm at times.
