Not something from Elton John ..... :(

Haven't posted a piccie for a while. I've taken a few but not processed much. I was inspried the other day of some sunset shots of some turbines and thoguth that I'd promised to do that myself ages ago. Well, I gave it a go this evening. Not quite the effect I was after but not bad as it was a bit "spur of the moment".

Nice :) spot on with the amount of blue in my opinion, great sense of movement but you can still see the shape etc :) If it was me I would be tempted to fiddle with the sky a bit and maybe completely sillhouette (cant spell) the turbines - maybe just a hit of constrast might just make it jump out more. Great location though :)

wouldnt be my shots of the sunsets with the wind turbines that inspired you by any chance would it?

Not so much inspired (no offense intended) but reminded that it was something I promised myself to do about three months ago. I've driven past these things about 4 times since you posted your very good shots!

Please be advised that our production server Thorium is currently going through a reboot and disk check.

We estimate the server should be back online and running within a maximum of 15-20 minutes.

If for any reason this server will be down longer, then full details will be posted upon this page.

Update 15.00 The disk check is taking longer than expected. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

"The disk check is taking longer than expected." No joking... :bang:

Thanks for all your help, this was working when I posted the links... it'll be back.

I know TPF was slow this morning..... this is Pipex. First problem ever in 2 years...

Thanks again though.

Not too far from you ;) ..... just South East of Peterborough - between Warboys and Chatteris.

I like these, just the right amount of blur to imply movement and nice colour in the sky. The composition in the second works best for me.

Second works for me, a nice tranquil, soothing feel to it.

I particularly like the intelligent use of empty space.
