Thanks steep,
Do you know how I can post the images a little bigger than thumbnails - they are in the TP gallery??
I think it's the link that's wrong there, try http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/gallery/data/500/Broadway_Tower_1.jpg for the last shot.

I'll give you a comprehensive critique because you asked for one.
First image would work if you had I knew what the guy was shooting, it needs something defined in the distance (building, trees. etc) to help make sense of the composition.
Second the prominent thistles are too central, they need to be on one side (left in this instance)
Third works better from a composition point of view, but I'd clone the blurred grass.
The last, if you had used f16 instead of f4, and kept the FG flowers in focus, it would be a peach of an image, as everything else comes together very well.
I quite like where you are going with your style of photography, you seem to have a good eye for what works, it just needs refining a bit :)

Thanks for your comments Les, I guess I should post elsewhere for Critique!?
I have only been into photography for about a year or so (well with a SLR anyway) so I realise that it will take a lot longer to actually be able to take decent shots of what I would like to shoot.
Loving your landscapes by the way (even the 'yet another pier one's!):)
I am really liking the last one - all but for the OOF flower (poppy?) in the corner. If that was either not there or in focus, it would turn a good shot into an excellent one.
I like the silhouettes in the first three, lovely sky.
Agree with the others that the last one would be excellent if the flower was in focus. :)

Lovely pastel colours in No.1. But it lacks something else on the skyline.
Maybe if you had shot 2 and 3 a little later into the sunset they would have been superb.
I find the out of focus flower off putting in your last picture. Which is a shame as it could be a cracking shot.
Just my opinion :)
