Can any other Canon 30D owners tell me whether their LCD shows a true representation of the shot taken?
Mine appear to have a slight yellow cast? When looking at the shots on the LCD compared to my 19" TFT the colour differences are noticably different?

PS Apologies to Kerso, but you were beaten on price on this occassion. A lens I will buy from you though
You posted the same thread in 2 sections of the forum which is not on - so I removed the other one (in case you were wondering where it went).
I don't do subtle colours as I'm partially colour blind. I would never have thought the camera display was good enough for anything other than checking exposure and maybe an idea of sharpness if you zoom in.

Ouch, straight to the point there!
Sorry I could have been more tactful I suppose

The LCD on the back is handy just for getting an idea of the shot, not for actually viewing shots. If I feel the screen has a yellow hue, I need to compensate for that.
I apologise for the double posting, honest mistake.
I've not noticed a yellow hue on mine, the images seem to be pretty well balanced but I don't spend time looking at them, I have it set to show a small image along with exposure info.
I haven't really noticed a tint on my 30D to be honest.
Mind you I am slightly colour blind too.
I dont have a hue on mine.
But I only realy use it for the composition and the histogram... Colours are not too accurate and too small to get a good idea!
No problem at all, I do my best, I am going to offer the 30Ds at a better price next week, I am getting in 6. Regards Ian.
