omg at the colours! Love it. Very bold and colourfull. I do however feel that it would have benefited from standing more to the left, so that you were looking more along the pier towards the sunset.

oh, quick mention - thanks to those apartment shots you gave me so much advice on, I just ordered, this very evening, an oh so nice 10-20 sigma lens. So once again, many thanks. Its good when photography pays for itself once in a while ;)

Lovely colours. How long did you expose this for?

Gandhi

shot was exposed for 20" @ f8, ND Grads and 0.9ND filters.

The colour is real. Didn't last long though.

Thanks for the positive feedback!

I saw a sky like this outside my work about a week ago, didn't have cam though :(

It must of been about 9:30pm, it literally was bright pink! Really was surreal :)

Thanks for the positive feedback! So - asking this in a learning manner... when you say f8 - did you set that aperture setting manually, and the camera opened the shutter for 20 seconds...?

Or was it another method?

Thanks

Full manual mode, focus and exposure. Guided by the meter on the d70 in matrix mode and adjusted to taste!

And to think, I nearly didn't post this as I thought It was too garish lol!

The colours are garish but the simple calm-looking expanse of the water in the foreground seems to balance things out for me.
In a class of its own!

Good image, colours suit me, particularly like the reflected lights.
Got a slight niggle in that I wish you had left the ND out of it, the reason being I would have liked just a bit more defined detail in the FG water, just to hold the image together a bit better.
Just a small niggle though, still a cracking image.
