It is only cardboard, and It does come in a bullet proof case inside the box.

:eek: :eek: Holy Poo!!! I knew canon were a bit iffy, but I didnt know Canon lenses are SOOOOOO fragile they need their own suitcase! :p :p

PS: Anyone thinking of purchasing this lens do make sure you have a use for it, They are very big and an awful price to pay for a lens you wouldnt use.;)

Wont be me, i bought his last one ;) LOL

And yes they are big and expensive if you arent going to use them, dont think mines been off the camera for long since i got it though :)

A 600mm is for life, not just for Christmas ;)
