Later this quarter, SanDisk will ship a 128GB CompactFlash card that's specified to deliver write speeds of up to 100MB/s. Just imagine filling that up and it corrupting or getting nicked! Brings me out in a cold sweat just thinking about it! :(

I was joking by the way. I'd have no reservations about using it at all. I remember the same comments when 1GB cards were introduced.

Speaking of 1GB cards; it was 10 years ago that IBM introduced the 1GB CF Microdrive that retailed for about the same price as this 128GB CF :shrug:
