Hi there, I am new here and new to photography, I'm interested in what you may think of the bluebell photos.
Thanks.

These images are taken by my boyfriend. (he doesn't like them) but I think for an amature, they are good.
I myself am really getting in to photography.
Hi,
These are very plesant. If you want general help and as you say are new, it will possibly be better for you to post these in the landscape or nature section.
You will get fairly harsh criticism in this section or no comment at all because people will not generally want to put you off... unless this is what you were after?
Scoff's right Kerry - probably why no-one has commented. Perhaps a kind mod could move them? I like the compostition of the first one although it's slightly over-exposed. The second one is okay, but lacks a real focus.
Have a good scan through the landscape forum & see what the members say about similar images, also the overview on the rule of thirds from CT (I think).
Welcome though - hope the lack of comments hasn't put you off staying here - it's a really great forum.
First Pic.- The composition is good, although the OOF bluebells almost distract us from the in focus ones; perhaps if the photo was taken slightly more to the left, giving a gap between the two. Otherwise, nice photo.
Second Pic.- I like the way the tree trunks act as a frame to the photo, although there is a bit too much at the bottom of the pic. distracting us from the actual object; the bluebells, behind it.
Third Pic.- I personally like this picture. Instead of just taken an mundane pic. of an area of bluebells, he gave us something that contrasts with them (the branch), which fits well into the photo. The tree trunks behind the bluebells almost seem to be rising out of the fray, which I like. A nice photo overall!
I'm not a fan of the fourth picture. It's lacking in a real focus point. It's slightly bland, to be honest. Creating an interesting picture could have involved taking it from lower down. Perhaps focusing on a few bluebells at the front, and letting the rest just merge into one big blue field!
Anyway, don't be disheartened. If you're interested in photography post some of your own pictures up! I only joined a few days ago, and it''s clear that this is a friendly, helpful community!
:welcome:
Nothing to do with pictures, but advice for anyone who shoots bluebells next year. Take them on an overcast day, the colour will look far better than a sunny day when the blue colour can get almost bleached out, plus you avoid a lot of hash shadows :)
