Forum problem

At work we have just been upgraded to ie7 and since then I can't access the forums on my computer at work, I can open the home page but when I click on any link all I get is this page cannot be displayed, some sites are barred at work but that gives a message of "this is a prohibited site" I have tried deleting all cookies and history but still no good, does anyone have any ideas?

I can't all networked and we have to use what we're given, I use ie7 at home with no problems.

If you work for a large organisation they may add TP to the banned site list usually categorised as "personal storage & backup" or "chat". I have the same problem, although it's a bit intermittent.
If you have to connect via the company firewall I'm afraid there's not a lot you can do other than ask the techies to permit access...whatever you do don't try & get round it - it may be a disciplinary offence....

No that's the weird thing the banned sites actually come up with a screen stating so and the weird thing is I can log on to the canon forums.

Could also try adjusting security settings in IE7 - I am told its a pretty tempermental beast, might be too secure to allow access? :shrug:

I had a quick try today but no joy, unfortuneately it was a busy day and I didn't get much time on the computer but I think you could be right, tomorrow security settings it is, it's not fair being away from all you friendly people all day.:)
