What does this mean

I have a thread in photo sharing that says mountains in France and there is a little sign like a V what does that mean.

I have checked in IE and with Firefox as well and nothing is showing for me? From Marcel's reply it would also seem as though he doesn't see anything strange as well. :confused-

Is there any chance that you can take a screen shot and post it so that we can see the problem and try to help?

Ahhhhh do you mean the tick ? which means you are subscibed to a thread ? blue square box, with a tick in it ?

If you hold the mouse pointer over the offending item it should tell you what it means !

Yeah, is the tick, means you have made comments in a thread, and will only appear on threads you have posted to on your machine, wont appear on anybody elses unless they have also replied on it :)

It means you've subscribed to the thread.
If you click on User CP along the top you can change your options, and review your subscribed threads.
I subscribe to threads occasionally, especially ones in forums that I don't go to all the time, and select daily email updates to remind me if anything new is posted.
It can also be set up to subscribe you to a thread as soon as you reply, which seems like this is the case here.

For the record, if you look down the thread listing, to theleft of the thread titles, you'll see envelopes. The ones wiith the arrow in (http://www.thephotographyforums.com/forums/images/statusicon/thread_dot.gif are the ones you've replied to.
I find this a VERY handy icon for a quick visual check of which threads I've participated in.
Hover over it and it tells you how many times you've replied to:) and when the last one was.

VB is a very versatile tool with many many little features like this, and it only usually comes with time and experience that you start to pick them all up, There's just so man y things that it does.
