problem replying to post

When trying to reply to this thread http://www.thephotographyforums.com/forums/showthread.php?p=25788#post25788 I keep getting this message:

Bachs, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I can post in other threads and this one doesn't appear to be locked or anything? :confused-

The news forum has restricted access, it should only allow "staff" to post new threads and members to reply..thats because it directly feeds the news to the front on the main site.

It appears however from what you are saying that there may be an issue if you cant reply.

I will check the permissions and see if I have made a mistake when setting up that forum.

Just altered one permission..it was set so that members couldn't reply to their own thread..normally that wouldn't be a issue there as you can't start threads, however with EosD copying your post into a new thread there it prevented you from taking any futher part ;)

See if that has solved the issue now mate. :)
