View Full Version : Manfrotto Spare Parts Stockists?
The big locking knob which locks the ball on my 488RC4 head seems to have fallen out and I've lost it. Johnsons, who deal with Manfrotto spares, have said they are out of stock and will be at least 5 weeks for delivery and 'Manfrotto are on holiday for August so God knows when we will get it'.
:'(
Anyone know of any UK/Euro stockists of Manfrotto spares?
Cheers,
Mohain

You could try these people KPProf of Cambridge (http://www.kpprof.com). They hold a lot of Manfrotto kit, they may have spares.
Thanks chuckles, emailing them now. I've emailed a few supplier now but they have all come back to me to tell them that Johnsons are the only UK stockist! Oh well, guess I'll have to wait :(
I think your Problem for the availability of spares is that in manufacturing in Italy they take the month of August as holiday, I have encountered this before, it then takes them a few weeks to sort out the back log of orders.
Hope you can find some UK or USA stock

Thanks mho. Can't find the US website for them (called bogen in the US I think)?
http://www.bogenimaging.us/jsp/index.jsp
parts department at (201) 818-9500 Ext-244,
or
email parts@bogenimaging.com
http://www.robertwhite.co.uk/ may well be worth a try mate?
Bogen have the item in stock but wont deliver outside the US. Luckly I have a mate in NYC and he can post it to me. Even with all the deliveries and postage it's cheaper and MUCH quicker than buying it from Manfrotto spares department (Johnsons) directly. Crazy ... but I'm happy :) Thanks mho

KP Professional in Cambridge weren't able to help me.
I used Johnsons and they were great. I think if they can't get it, then no-one will. They seem to work on a 5 week lead time as that is what my stuff took.
